Where is The Box Cafe?

The Box Cafe is based At Chesterton Sports Centre, this is a community sports facility within the grounds of Chesterton Community College. Chesterton Sports Centre opened in the Summer of 2004, with a swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, function room, tennis court, physiotherapy room, fitness studio and coffee shop/viewing pool and sports hall. It has become a firm favourite with residents in and around Cambridge area. At the centre you can hire the sports hall for any event: party, community event, demonstration, etc, and we would happily cater for your event. Also you can hire the out side ground for your event

How to find us

From A14: Follow directions to Cambridge City Centre(Cambridge Road). Carry on over the first set of traffic lights onto Histon Road. Turn left into Gilbert Road. Continue over the first set of traffic lights. Just before the pedestrian crossing, turn right into Chesterton Community College. Once in the school grounds, take the first left into the car park. Parking is free.

From City centre: follow directions to Histon B1049 (Histon Road). At the cross roads turn right into Gilbert Road.

By Bus or on foot: There is a bus stop opposite the school served by routes 14 & C1.
